In April, Mary attended the Texas Library Association where she, along with two Texas architects, presented Taking the LEED in Libraries.  Their presentation can be found at: http://www.txla.org/conference/conf.html.

Mary was a speaker at Spokane's Earth Day, April 26, 2009,

Mary was one of the Mayor's Task Force on Sustainability representatives who spoke to the Spokesman-Reivew Editorial Board on April 29, 2009. Subsequently, an article and two editorials were published in support of the Task Force's sustainability plan. 

LEED® V3 was launched on April 27, 2009.  (Mary's copy of V3 arrived on her doorstep on May 12, 2009.)

Spokane's Sustainability Plan, written by the Mayor's Task Force on Sustainability, was accepted by the Spokane City Council on May 11, 2009.
